With a memorable tribal pattern, the Teremembes bag is mad and braided with Buriti palm tree fiber with 100% natural dyeing, utilizing fruits of the season. The artisan’s work took 102 hours of dedication from the artisan.

The Akra Collection was created by designer Samuray Martins to encourage Brazilian handicrafts by creating a sustainable practice that benefits small communities in the Northeast of Brazil. The objects are made of leaves from one of the largest palms found in the area, the Buriti. The practice is an old tradition in Brazil and the project brings socio economic benefits to remote areas in the country.
