The Hupda people live along the upper Rio Negro in Colombia and also in Venezuela.
The Hupda artisans make baskets with the vine called titmice. In addition to being beautiful they are extremely resistant and therefore have great durability.
The art of braiding natural fibres is directly linked to contact with nature, respecting the right harvest time for each species.
